Popgang Records founding duo, Manics, present the two track "Clockwerk EP". Pulling influence from their love of UK new wave and post punk, Manics showcase their darker side with title track "Clockwerk". Written completely on analog synths (including the iconic robot voice in the breakdown), this visceral anthem-in-the-making is meant for alternative dance floors. While the b-side "24 Hour Party People" is an ode to Hacienda nights and burgeoning rave culture; featuring original vocoder, driving bass lines and ethereal melodies.
